MS. MICHELLE LYNETTE HILL - Age 48, of Dalton, GA passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, and she attended Cross Plains Community Partner for thirty plus years. She enjoyed arts & crafts, shopping, and delivering newspapers to the hospital patients. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter “Bud” Hill Jr., grandfather, David Lee Macon, and grandparents Walter and Mary Emma Hill, Sr . She is forever survived by her loving and devoted, mother, Marsha Hill; grandmother, Lucy Macon; aunts, Stephanie (Ricky) Ramsey, Susie (Corey) Byrd, Bernadette Chattam, Mary (David) Rufus, and Evelyn (James) Rufus; uncles, Iva Lee Macon, David “Tuffy” Macon, and Marvin Hill; great aunts, Martha H. Ward and Connie H. Fortson; great uncle, Russell Hill; special cousins, Alicia (Gary) Reese, Hallie (Emily) Perry, and Christa (Chris) Burse; special godmother, Lynette Stokes and sons, Cameron Ellison, Braxton and Braddon Callaway; and a host of other relatives, cousins, and friends.
Service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Bishop Claud Jones as Eulogist. Her remains will lie in state on Tuesday after 12:00 noon until the service hour. Interment at West Hill Cemetery. Service will be live streamed through our website.
