Mr. Bobby Jean Hodge, age 85, of Kennesaw, GA., passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. Mr. Hodge was born on February 3, 1931 in Malone, Alabama. Mr. Hodge served in the United States Army, after his service he went on to work for Lockheed Martin and retire after years of dedicated employment. In his spare time he enjoyed working in his garden to which he won many awards for his delicious produce. He also enjoyed fishing and at the time of his passing was attending Acworth Christian Church. Along with his parents, Mr. Hodge is preceded in death by two brothers, Guy Hodge and Charles Hodge. He is survived by one daughter, Bonita Labby of Kennesaw; brother, Anthony Drake; one sister, Rene Miller; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Hodge will be held at four o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from two o’clock in the afternoon until the time of service on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the funeral home. Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Parkway Kennesaw, GA. 30152, has charge of arrangements for Mr. Bobby Jean Hodges.
