Lorraine Gail Murray, 62, a native of North Gage, departed this life on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in Charlotte.
She was born in Utica on June 19, 1957 to the union of Howard and Beverly Murray. Lorraine received her formal education at Poland Central School and received her Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy from Dominican College in New York City.
Lorraine accepted Christ at an early age and was united with North Gage Presbyterian Church. She was a self-employed occupational therapist at A-Z Theraplay for many years and she specialized in helping children with developmental disabilities. She was also a member of Professional OT organizations.
In her leisure she enjoyed riding horses, hiking, traveling, fishing, the ocean and mountains. She loved pursuing new adventures and had a passion for helping others. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, her dog (Pebbles), and her horses (Strawberry and Baby).
She leaves to cherish her memory her fiancé, Steve Sigmon; her parents, Howard and Beverly Murray; her siblings, Carol Murray Zeimendorf (Brian), Michele Murray (Robert), and Howard Jack Murray, Jr. (Sonya); nieces and nephews, Eric (Heather), Matthew (Amanda), Jennifer (Michael), Michael (Kari), Hailey, Morgan, and Griffin; great nieces and nephews, Leah, Asher, Ragnar, Alexander, Colton, Dylan, and Owen; and a host of other loving family and friends.
