Blue Singer. Born Frank Bass he was the seventh of twelve children born to gospel singer Maggie Jordan. The first group he was with was “The Rising Sons” that included his brothers and cousins. He left home at 17 and moved to Philadelphia where he became the driver for Otis Redding advance publicity man. On occasions Redding would ride with them to shows. He returned in 1996 and in 1998 released his debut album "Steppin' Out."
