Darrell Eugene “Buck” Mitchell, age 64, of the Ravens Nest Branch section of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 6, 2020.
He was born in Richlands, Virginia on April 16, 1956 and was the son of the late James Mitchell and Patsy Barrett Mitchell. Darrell was a graduate of Richlands High School Class of 1974. He was a handyman and worked many odd jobs for people. He was a lifelong resident of the area.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Mitchell, James Mitchell, Randel Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, and Tommy Mitchell; sister, Brenda Helbert; and special nephew, J.W. Mitchell
He is survived by his;
Sister, Susie Profitt and husband, Charlie of Shortt Gap, VA
Brother, Keith Mitchell and wife, Denise of Bandy, VA
Step Father: Alford Russell and wife, Ester of Richlands, VA
A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his home with the Rev. Bruce Mitchell officiating.
