Jennifer Lynne “Jenny” Jackson, 63, of Marquette Heights, IL, passed away at 12:56 am on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at Unity Point Health-Methodist in Peoria, IL.
She was born on July 25, 1956, in Peoria, IL to Ralph M. Dean and Shirley Slater and was raised by her grandparents, Jesse and Katherine Dean. She married Richard Jackson.
Her husband, father and grandparents who raised her, all preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter, Stephanie (Rob) Harris; son, Derek Jackson and grandchildren, Kristopher, Kiersten and Carter Harris.
Jenny was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War as a nurse. She worked as a paraprofessional for Pekin Public School District 108 and at Schram Educational Center. Jenny loved to cook.
Cremation rites have been accorded. No services will be held at this time. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
