Lynne was a very motivated, caring, and creative woman that recently took on responsibilities as Event Coordinator for the Scottish Rite, and she founded Common Ground of Fort Wayne. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, having donated many of her items to various outreach programs.
Surviving are her husband, William Doctor of Fort Wayne; children, Joel (Tia) Brecount of Silex, Mo., Steven Brecount of Fort Wayne, Megan (Joshua) Muth of Naperville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, with calling from noon until the service. Rev. Dr. Derek Weber officiating. Calling also from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind. Memorials may be made to the Aldersgate United Methodist Church or Shepherd's House.
