Funeral services for Clifton Hayes Jr., 52, will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Coteau Holmes Mission Baptist Church, in St. Martinville. Brother Tony Ransonet will officiate the service.
Burial will follow at Fellowship Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 3:00 PM until time of service on Thursday. Mr. Hayes was born on April 22, 1957 and passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Iberia Medical Center.
He is survived by his children Freddie Hayes of Coteau Holmes and Michelle Hayes of Cheranton; three brothers Wiley Hayes Sr., and Larry Hayes both of Coteau Holmes, Shelton Hayes of Isle Labbe, two sisters Edmonia Trahan of St. Martinville and Mary Ann Hayes of Coteau Holmes; grandchildren Freddie Hayes Jr., Macy Hayes, O'ren Becrra, Carilion Becrra , and Persayis Becrra, along with a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives He was preceded in death by his wife Annet Carrier Hayes, parents Clifton Hayes Sr., and Margret Boudreaux Hayes.
