Vincent “Tre” Edward Clark III was born Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, the loving son of Vince and Ebony Clark II. Tre had the ability to light up an entire room with his joyous personality and contagious smile. All who met Tre felt the love he shared and loved him in return as he was known for bringing joy and happiness to everyone he touched. Tre enjoyed many activities throughout his precious life: “Peek-a-boo,” video calling his “Glamma,” playing patty cake with his Nani, talking and laughing with his Paw Paw, cuddling and drooling with his PaPa, playing with toys with his cousins, movie time with TT Taj, opening Christmas gifts with his family, crawling from room to room at home, watching “Puppy Pals” in the evening, eating a variety of fruits and veggies (and smearing them all over the place), “good mornings” and story time with mommy, watching sports and beating on random things around the house with his DaaaaDa. His last two days preceding his passing were some of the most memorable. Tre spent that Sunday afternoon with his dad driving up to his cousin’s basketball game. Tre attracted a crowd of many to play a long game of “peek-a-boo” while his aunt caught the moment on camera. His mom would say that Monday was the most beautiful day of her life. The weather was perfect, it was their first time at the park, in jungle gyms and soaring on swings. It was beautiful. Mommy was able to capture that beautiful smile and joyous laughter that she’ll hold on to forever. Tre was loved and Tre loved. The family said, “We all will cherish our memories in our hearts. We will remember to live our lives with a purpose, the biggest lesson from the smallest person.” He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother and father, Ebony and Vincent E. Clark II, of Calumet City; maternal grandparents, Angelo Rogers, of Richton Park, and Carla and William Drozd, of Bourbonnais; paternal grandparents, Alisha and Vincent E. Clark I, of Bourbonnais; maternal great-grandparents, Michael and Ella Cobbs, of Kankakee, and Joan Drozd, of Tinley Park; maternal great-grandmothers, Bonnie Clark and Patricia Strickland, both of Kankakee; maternal uncles and aunts, Xavier Rogers, Ramero Rogers, Angelo Rogers, Jonathon Lamie, Isis Rogers, Tajane Waters, Shantinelle Rogers and Amber Drozd; paternal uncles and aunts, Jaeden Clark, Justin Clark, Jacqueline Clark and Carrie Williams; along with a host of other relatives and family friends. Preceding him in death were his great-grandfathers, Frank Clark, George Hobson and William Drozd; his great-grandmother, Barbara Williams; and a cousin, Craig Crisp Jr.
