Ruben Medina, 84, passed away on June 4, 2020 in his home in Moapa, NV. Ruben was born on February 15, 1936 in Mexicali, B.C. Mexico to Jose Raymundo Medina and Delfina Borboa. He married Maria J. Ambriz on January 26, 1958 in Mexicali, Mexico.

Ruben loved his family the most and worked hard to provide for them. He worked many years as a farmer, and was brilliant for his ability to train animals to work as well as he did. He loved to garden and to care for his animals. He was loved for his storytelling that would make everyone laugh, and he was easy to talk to. He loved being on the road, driving through the desert and being with family.

Ruben is survived by his wife, Maria J. Medina, his children, Ruben (Maria A.) Medina, Jorge H. (Nancy) Medina, Patricia (Isidoro) Acosta, Liliana (Daniel) Jensen, and Fabian (Kathryn) Medina; his eighteen grandchildren; his seventeen great-grandchildren; his one brother and three sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his son, Jose Luis Medina; his grandson, Jorge Medina; his parents, and his two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at the Moapa Valley Mortuary on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. and will be available by Facebook live-stream on Ruben Medina Funeral Service page (live-stream link below).
