Russell L. Moore passed away on Saturday; June 6, 2020 in Dallas.

He was born October 6, 1943 in Glen Rose, Texas to Olvie O. Moore and Velma Reynolds Moore.

Russell served in the United States Navy from June 1962 to June 1965. He graduated from Tarleton State University in 1972. He was employed as an Auditor with the Federal Government and retired in 1995.

After retirement, he was employed as a Veterans Counselor and retired from the State of Texas and Johnson County. Russell then became employed in the Accounting Office with the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Russell is survived by niece, Cheryl Kizer and husband Terry and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 AM. – 12:30 PM. Friday; June 12, 2020 at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose.

Graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM. Friday at Squaw Creek Cemetery in Rainbow.
