Patricia Ann Thompson Lawless, 62, Shelbyville, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville. She was a native of Shelbyville, KY, the daughter of the late Edith Mae Thompson. She formerly worked at Medical Center Laundry as a machine operator, at Union Underwear and at Logan's Laundry. In her leisure time, she enjoyed bingo and playing cards. She was a Baptist by faith. In addition to her husband and parents, three brothers, David Thompson, Doug Thompson and Terry Lee Thompson, preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Jonathan (Vercye) Thompson and Rodney (Kimberly) Thompson, both of Albuquerque, NM; one daughter, Fonesha Thompson of Shelbyville; two sisters, Mary Thompson and Ruby (George) Sykes, both of Shelbyville; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church with visitation after 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.Arrangements have been entrusted to Morton-Beckley Funeral Directors.
