Doris Cox, 96, passed away Friday June 5, 2020 in Graham. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery.
Doris was born February 7, 1924 in Graham to the late Lillie Bell (Minor) Roberts and Mose Monroe Roberts. She married Walter Thomas "Bud" Cox, January 29, 1940. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1999. Doris was a homemaker and lifetime resident of Graham.
Survivors include; daughters, Pat Bynum of Graham and Wanda Williams of Graham; sons, Tommy Cox of Graham and Donald R. Cox, Sr. and wife Sherry of Graham; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, twenty-one great great grandchildren; sisters, Letha Faye Gray of Graham and Delois Brown of Newcastle; brother, Carl Roberts of Odessa.
Doris was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Beauchamp and Lucille Cox and a brother, Wayne Roberts.
Family visitation will be Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
