Suzanne M. (Kossick) Day, 47, of Worthington, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Kobacker House in Columbus after a courageous 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.
Suzanne was born in Crestline on June 23, 1972 to David and Mary Ann (Scanlon) Kossick. She married Richard L. Day III on June 4, 2005 and he survives.
Suzanne graduated from Crestline High School in 1990. She went on to graduate from Ohio Northern College of Pharmacy. She worked at Pharmerica in Worthington, as a pharmacist. Suzanne excelled in swimming, breaking many records. She was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed beach vacations with family, being outdoors, attending concerts, and tending to her flowers.
Suzanne is survived by husband, Richard Day; her son, Henry Day, at home; father, David Kossick of Oberlin; brother, David Kossick of Crestline, "favorite" sister Anne (Howard "Butch") Born III of Oberlin; brother, Kevin (Tessa) Kossick of Marysville; and her nieces, Sydney and Sarah Kossick, and Hope, Faith, and Joy Born.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her dear mother, Mary Ann Kossick.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 W. Main St., Crestline where a Vigil Service will follow at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline Father Chris Bohnsack, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
