Ruth Alice Fuller, 94, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 surrounded by her family at her home in Des Moines.
Ruth was born April 4, 1924 in Washington, Iowa to William and Vera (Martin) Stockman. She married Delbert Fuller on July 27, 1940 in Washington, Iowa. Ruth was a very giving person and she was always taking care of other people, especially her family. She never slowed down; she was always on the go. In her free time, she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and reading.
Ruth is survived by her son, Rodney (Reggie) Fuller; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Lorena, Arlene, Jerry, Roberta, and Sandy; and many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert; daughter, Audrey Foust; son, Sid Fuller; grandson, Ernie Foust; parents, William and Vera Stockman; and her siblings, Donna, Esther, Bill, Juanita, and Kenny.
According to Ruth's wishes, cremation will occur. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
