Born November 10, 1947, she was the daughter of James and Clara Inman Simmons.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Steven Daniel Cook; a daughter, Kimberly Hope Boles (Cameron Lineback); two grandchildren: Kelsey Brooke (Steve) Irvin, James Jackson (Amy) Holt; two great-grandchildren: Athen Daniel Dunkes, Emma-Sky Maria Dunkes; and a sister, Pamela Jo Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson-in-law, Arthur Marvin Dunkes, III.
The possessor of a caring heart, Mrs. Cook provided home care for many and shared her kind nature with those she cared for.
There will be a family graveside service on Monday, June 8, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Jessup Grove Baptist Church. Bro. D.C. Collins will be officiating.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Mountain Valley Hospice at Woltz Hospice Home for their unwavering care during Mrs. Cook’s illness.
