Mary Lou Rich, age 69 of Andrews, NC passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the daughter of the late Jess Pendergrass, Sr. and Blanche Pendergrass. Mary worked in retail sales. She was a member of New Life Church of God.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Jess Pendergrass, Jr. and one sister, Vestal Ellison.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Joe Rich, Jr.; two sons, Roy Lee Rich and wife Alice of Murphy and Jimmy Joe Rich and wife Danielle of the Nantahala community; one sister, Barbara McClure; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, June 7, 2020 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Pastor Fred Delili will officiate.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
