Mary Beth Hester, 57, died Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 6, 2020 beginning 9:00 am-10:00 am followed by the Funeral Service at 10 am in the Chapel of Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories in Florence, MS.
Mary Beth was born in Jackson, MS on July 26, 1962 to Climmons and Erma McMillian Hester. She was a member of Raymond Road Baptist church. She worked for several years at All State Insurance, Southern Farm Bureau, World Comm and several other businesses. She had people skills, was a social butterfly, an encourager and cared about others. She was extremely easy to love.
Those preceding her in death include her grandchildren, Austin and Taylor. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Madison Swedenburg of McComb; daughters, Monica (Matthew) Crane of Hattiesburg, Morgan Swedenburg of Magee; brother, Danny (Marsha) Hester of Conway, AR.; sisters, Sheila Russell of Pearl, Miriam Jeffords of Jackson, Lorri (Wayne) Williams of Flower Mound, TX; sister in law, Ann Hester of Conway, AR; 3 grandchildren, Lucy, Jacob and one on the way.
