Mrs. Frank Martin, 83, former Bruning resident and mother of Jesse Martin of Bruning, passed away at her home in Geneva. Mrs. Martin had been suffering from Bright's disease for a long time.

She is survived by one son, Jesse, of Bruning and two daughters, Mrs. Edna Walcott of Geneva and Mrs. Ethel Little of Lincoln.

Mrs. Martin was one of Bruning's first settlers. She came here with her husband nearly 55 years ago and made her home on the Martin farm northwest of Bruning, until fifteen years ago when she moved to Geneva. Funeral services will be held at the home in Geneva, followed by services in Harmony church north of Bruning. Interment will be in Harmony cemetery.
