Heather Nicole Shaw better known by those who loved her as “Boo Baby” went to meet the Lord unexpectedly the 3rd of June 2020 at the young age of 33 years old. She was born in Galveston Hospital on October 30th, 1986 to her loving parents Larry & Billie Van Arsdale. Heather’s love knew no bounds as she started her own family with her husband, Joe Shaw, and their two amazing daughters, Madison, and Mackenzie. Her big warm hugs were only outmatched by how much she cared and was willing to help anyone who needed it. To say she was selfless, loving and caring would be an understatement. Her unmistakable laugh, unforgettable smile and beautiful Hazel eyes will be missed by many but never forgotten. While preceded in death by Grandpa Glen Givens, Grandma Karen Bertrand, Mother in law Gale Pendley, Father in law Richard Shaw, Nephew Shelton Steaven McShan, Nephew Aksel Papuga and many others. Heather was survived by Husband Joe Shaw, Daughters Madison & Mackenzie Shaw, Father Larry Jr. Van Arsdale, Mother Billie Gribben, Stepparents Michael Gribben and Leah Van Arsdale, Sister Ashley & Husband Dustin Zimmerman and their Daughters Riley & Bailey, Brother “Critter” & Wife Kristina Van Arsdale and their Three kids Ashton, Kylie, and Natalie. Brothers Cayden, Payton Gribben, and Sister Christy Gribben. Brother Travis & Wife Chelsea Gates and their two kids Mikah and Lawson. Sister Tara & Husband Cody Papuga and their two kids Everett and Elaina. Grandparents Cindy Wilson Givens, Billy Bertrand, Larry Sr. & Josephine Van Arsdale, and countless others.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 11:00am in Farris Cemetery.
