Shirley Ann Baldwin, age 74, died Friday, June 5, 2020 at her home in Columbus. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory, 2nd Avenue North location. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel, 2nd Avenue North location. A graveside service will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kenny Gardner Officiating.
The daughter of the late Shields and E.C. Stokes Herron, Mrs. Baldwin was born in Lowndes County, MS, March 29, 1946. She was a member of Living Faith Tabernacle. She loved making pies at Glenn's BBQ and working in her flower garden. She also loved her fur baby Chloe. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters Linda Brooks and Betty Harrell, two brothers J.L. Harrison and Cecil Harrison and a grandson Mark Baldwin, Jr.
She is survived by her husband George Glenn Baldwin, two sons and daughters-in-law Glenn and Joni Baldwin and Mark and Anne Baldwin, two brothers and sisters-in-law George and Susie Herron and Johnny and Judy Herron, one grandson Jack Baldwin (Natalie), three granddaughters Brooke Adams (Kirk), Jennifer Baldwin and Hiliary Baldwin, and one great –granddaughter Sloan Baldwin.
Pallbearers will be Shane Bradford, II, Dakota Bradford, Bobby Barksdale, Richard Barksdale, Jason Sims and Stephens Sims. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Glenn's BBQ and Baldwin's Produce.
