Edith Johanna Foster, 74, of Violet Hill, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Izard County Medical Center in Calico Rock, Arkansas.
She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 26, 1945, daughter of the late George and Shirley (Heather) Toth. Edith spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was united in marriage to Don Foster on December 21, 1984 in Denton, Texas. During her working years she worked as an administrator in banking. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church in Franklin, Arkansas
Edith is survived by her husband, Don Foster of Violet Hill, Arkansas; sons, Ronnie Lehew and wife Ginger of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Jon Lehew of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughters, Shirley Lehew of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Deana Porter and husband Andy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Phyllis and husband Bud of Austin, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Philip Lehew; grandson, Zane Porter and parents, George and Shirley Toth.
Pallbearers include: Doug Foster, Albert Foster, Larry Laird and Mark Ries
Graveside services will be Friday, May 29, 2020 beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. John Higgins officiating at Violet Hill Cemetery in Violet Hill, Arkansas.
