MUSCATINE, Iowa - Marilyn Hanson, passed away on June 3, 2020, at Pearl Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Memorial Park. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Marilyn was born on December 11, 1927, in Atalissa, the daughter of Herbert Ivan Wolf and Verda Gladys Horn. She married Hans Henry Hansen on December 14, 1947.

Marilyn attended and graduated business school in Rock Island. She worked as the County Auditor for 42 years. Marilyn retired in 1989. She enjoyed shopping and going to the casino.

Marilyn is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Inhelder of Davenport, Carol Overlander and her husband, Al, of Stockport; her brother, Larry Wolf and his wife, Julie, of Muscatine; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother in law, Elmer Inhelder; and a great nephew Theo Benjamin Wolf.
