Miriam D. Woronick, 84, of Mission, KS, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004, at home. Miriam was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Vernon County, MO. She worked in Washington, D.C., in the federal government prior to moving to the Kansas City area. After moving to Kansas City, she worked for Federal Van and Storage, and then for the EPA, where she retired from in 1985. She was a member of Nall Ave. Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband, Walt, of 58 years; children, Walter, Bob, Ruth and Steve; two grandchildren, Claire and Samuel; and a sister, Malinda Welch. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sampson and Amanda Dahmer, and two sisters, Ruth Dahmer and Clara Richardson.
