He is preceeded in death by his father, Conrad R. Appledorn. He is survived by wife, Pam S. Stengel Appledorn; daughter, Angie (Jack) Hopson; mother, Lois Georgia Syreen Appledorn; sister, Barbara (Dennis) Offner; and brother, Roger Appledorn.
He was a medical imaging physicist at the I.U. School of Medicine Department of Radiology, Indianapolis, IN. He retired in 2000 and was an avid genealogist. He went to high school and Junior College at New Mexico Military Institute and graduated from University of New Mexico. He received his Masters in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
Services were entrusted to Flanner Buchanan Broad Ripple Funeral Center of Indianapolis, Indiana.
