He was a United States Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. Clyde was very patriotic and loved his country. He was a residential homebuilder in Chattanooga for many years. Clyde lived a simple life and was very knowledgeable when it came to so many subjects, including history, politics and sports. He was a loyal father, a friend to many, and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Barbara; parents, Clarence and Myrtle Davis and son, Steven Davis.
Clyde is survived by his son, Michael Davis; daughters, Karen Lee and Linda Davis, and grandchildren, Joshua and Alexis Lee.
The family will have a private gathering and service.
Clyde will be laid to rest in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
