Tammy Cooper- Keeney, 38, of Belvidere, Illinois, died peacefully August 29. 2019 in Belvidere.

She was born on February 26, 1981, to Thomas Cooper and Dorothy Winter in Carpetnersville, Illinois. Tammy married her sweetheart, Terry Keeney, August 20, 2011 in Belvidere.

She was a high school graduate and worked as a personal assistant for the families of special needs. Tammy loved bowling and was in a bowling league throughout high school. She loved to collect angels and was a huge Nascar fan! Tammy also loved going to the Rockford Speedway. She helped to build demolition cars and was part of the Boone County Demolition Derby.

Tammy will be loved and missed by her husband, Terry; daughter, Destiny Cooper- Petrie; and father and step-mother, Thomas and Mary Cooper.

She is preceded in death by mother, Dorothy Cooper; and brother, Randy Cooper.

A visitation will be from 1 to 2:45 p.m. Friday, September 6th, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 West Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL. A graveside service to follow at Belvidere Cemetery. Father Brian Geary to officiate.
