He is survived by his three children, Paula Matthews, Michelle Kelly and Robert B. Bryan, III and sister Mary Marshall.
He was preceded in death by wife, Virginia B. Bryan and his parents, Robert and Dora Bryan.
After leaving the Navy as a Gorman, Robert worked as a pharmacy technician at his father’s drug store in Belmont, NC. After retiring from the drug store, he began a second career at Harris Teeter, where he eventually retired for good. Bruce enjoyed working crossword puzzles endlessly, reading and watching National Geographic and History channels.
