Linda Haught Hadley Baker, 78, of Gorrells Run Road, Middlebourne, departed this life Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Rada's Care Home, Sistersville.
She was born July 18, 1941, in Tyler County, a daughter of the late Short and Linnie Virden Haught.
Linda enjoyed going to the Senior Center in Middlebourne to quilt. She loved her flower beds. She was a member of Archers Chapel United Methodist Church, Middlebourne.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Freddie Hadley; a son, Phillip Hadley; two brothers, Paul and Andrew Haught and a sister, Virginia Freeland.
Linda is survived by her husband, Donald Baker; sons, Keith (Penny) Baker, Reader, Dale and Kevin Hadley; sisters, Janice (Randal) McMullen, Carol Cox, Mary Thomas and Donna Smith; a brother, Jerry (Nancy) Haught; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Dawn Hadley.
There will be a private viewing for the family. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at the Middlebourne Cemetery, with Reverend Donald Thomas officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to Journey Hospice, 314 S. Wells Street, Sistersville, WV 26175 or Archers Chapel United Methodist Church in c/o Mary Thomas, PO Box 492, Middlebourne, WV 26149.
