Tanya Georgetta Singleton-Myers Howard, 49, returned to her heavenly home on May 29th, 2020. Her devotion to her family and firm belief in God supported her and ultimately gave her peace. Tanya was born to the late Earl and Anna Pauline Singleton, in Louisville, KY on September 29th, 1970.

She was baptized at an early age at New Zion Baptist Church and later became a member of North Central Church of Christ. She was educated in the Jefferson County Public school system; graduated from Male High School and later graduated from National College of Business with a degree in Medical Billing and Coding.

Tanya enjoyed cooking, crocheting and she had a beautiful voice for singing. She never could cook a small meal. She poured her heart and soul into cooking. She was in her element when she was cooking and singing. She mastered the art of crocheting at an early age; making accessories, blankets, and garments.

Tanya was united in marriage to Paul Wayne Howard on September 1st, 2019. Her love as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and loving friend will never be forgotten.
Tanya had a kind heart and was always willing to help others. She was the founder of the young women's group, Sisters in Life; designed to promote self-esteem, empowerment and embrace their inner beauty with integrity to be confident, and strong loving productive women at her church. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator.

Tanya is survived by her husband, Paul "Wayne"; her sons, Donnell and Jordan; her stepchildren, Paul Wayne Jr, Celeste, Marquita and Alisha; her grandchildren, Deona, Miracle, Carmen and Ar'Monti; her sisters, Missy, Sandra, Olivia and Kristal; her nephews, Turahn, Javohn and Adonis; cousins, Ellen, Leveda and Terri; dear friends, Swanzetta, Mrs. Bobbie, Mrs. Malone, Laura, Nicole, and Michael as well as a host of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
