Teri Lynne Morris (Josvai), 53, of Bloomfield, IN, passed away on Monday June 1, 2020. Teri was born on November 7, 1966 at Sewart Air Force Base in Smyrna, TN.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Josvai, her stepfather, Dean Myers, her grandmother, Margaret Josvai, her aunts, Pamela Adelman and Karen Haynes, and her uncle, William Hastings.
Teri is survived by her mother, Eileen “Charlie” Myers, her grandfather, John Josvai, her aunt, Lois Kazmer, her brother, Keith (Amy) Myers, her daughters Alycia Leatherman (Jason) Walters, Madison Beerbower, and Serenah Morris (Tyler McGlothlin).
Teri grew up in Griffith, IN where she graduated from Griffith High School in 1984. In high school, Teri was active in many extracurricular activities including meeting her lifelong best friend, Jennifer Luptak (Berdine). Her proudest accomplishments in life were her three daughters, Alycia, Madison, and Serenah. While raising her children, she enjoyed participating in her daughters’ achievements, including sporting events, academic awards, and graduations. She was their biggest fan and supporter.
Teri enjoyed spending time with her immediate and extended family, cooking them meals at every get-together. She also enjoyed volunteering at food pantries, soup kitchens, church, and her daughters’ schools. As an empty-nester, Teri loved spending time with her pug-pal, Gwen.
Her loving and kind heart will be remembered at a memorial service at Chandler Funeral Home, 203 E Temperance St., Ellettsville, IN 47429 on Saturday June 6, 2020 from 11:00-1:00pm
