Jennifer Abbott Riggs, 44, of Deming, New Mexico, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 in San Angelo, Texas.

Jennifer was born April 30, 1976, in San Angelo, Texas to the late David Abbott and Sondra Abbott Walton.

She graduated from Grapevine Senior High School in Grapevine, Texas and obtained an Associate Degree in General Business from Hill College. She was a licensed cosmetologist for several years.

Jenni was a self-described “free spirit.” She loved family, music, dogs and travel. Her ideal day could be driving down the road, playlist in her ear and her dogs (Tinker Bell and Dottie) in her lap!

She was smart but could be naive in a cunning way. She was pretty but had an

“ugly” side, if you know what I mean! She was funny but could also be mischievous.

One of her favorite sayings was, “Death is not the greatest loss in life, it’s what dies inside of us while we live.” That was our Jenni and we will miss her dearly!

Fly, Jenni, Fly!

Jenni was preceded in death by her father, David Abbott.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Sondra and Don Walton of Granbury, Texas ; two daughters, Karlee Eisenbach of Granbury, Texas and Laney Riggs of San Angelo, Texas; one sister. Jamie Abbott of Snyder, Texas; two brothers, Garrett Harmsen and Jordan Harmsen both of Austin, Texas ; one grandchild, Kingston Eisenbach of Granbury, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation service for family and friends will be held at Robert Massie Funeral Home in San Angelo, Texas on Friday, June 5, 2020 between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

A private graveside service will be held at Eastlawn Memorial Park and Cemetery in Brownwood, Texas.
