She was a housewife and member of the First Baptist Church of Gravette. She moved to the area in 1972 from Kansas City, Kan.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Reece Buffer of Gravette; five daughters, Teresa Browning, Deborah Austin, and Diana Ayers, all of Bentonville and
Annette Thurman of Summers and Tonya Buffer of Gravette; her stepfather and mother, William Highley and Hattie
Highley of Caldwell; two sisters;Vesta Cox and Ruby Cook, both of Caldwell; eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Gravette with Tim Duerksen officiation. Burial
will be in Georgia Flats Cemetery west of Gravette under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Gravette.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
