Danny Lee Thornton, 41, of Flippin passed away Friday, Jan. 26 (2007) at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
Graveside funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at the Patton Cemetery in Pyatt with Brother Danny Spence officiating. Pallbearers will be John Paul Spence, Randy Brumley, James Underwood, Stanley Spence, Chris Dill and Brent Spence. Honorary pallbearers include Robert Belyea, Edward Belyea and Junior Crow. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Yellville.
The son of Guy Thornton of Fort Worth, Texas and Helen Walker of Yellville was born Nov. 11, 1965, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was an avid ragball player, coach and Dallas Cowboy sports fan. He was a member of the Pyatt Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Guy Thornton of Fort Worth, Texas and Helen Walker of Yellville; his wife, Joetta Thornton of Flippin; one son, Sam Thornton of Berryville; four daughters, Amanda Dill and Jessica Spence, both of Oklahoma, Stacey Thornton and Sarah Thornton, both of Flippin; one brother, Rick Walker and wife Mari of Pyatt; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
