Carol Dean Austin, 58, of Junction City, KS, passed away on May 28, 2020.

Calling hours will be held on 06/11/2020, 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Johnson Funeral Home of Junction City, Kansas.

A funeral service of close family and friends will be held on 06/12/2020, 10:00am at the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Grant officiating. Burial will follow the services at Fairview Cemetery of Junction City.

Carol was born on March 12, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Clyde and Racine (Dunn) Austin. Her family moved to Junction City, were she lived for a short while. She moved back to Cincinnati where she lived many years before moving again to Junction City to care for her father.

Carol was a loving mother and caring friend. She loved listening to Gospel music and spending time with friends and family.

She will be missed.

Carol is survived by her loving family: her children Carl Austin of Houston, TX, Naomi Austin of Fresno, TX, and Napoleon Sumler of Fresno, TX; her parents; her siblings Clyde Austin Jr., Clyde Lee Austin, Randy Austin, Mark Austin, Tery Dunn, Picken Dunn, Micheal Austin, Geraldine Austin, Jo Ann Dunn, Diann Dunn, Linda Ray, Linda Sue, Shirley Mae Austin, and Shirley Ann Austin; 8 Grandchildren; close friend Harry G. May of Junction City, KS; and a host of loving family and friends.
