Mexican Actor. Noriega was a leading actor during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Born in Mexico, Noriega appeared in nearly 150 films and TV shows during his long career. Noriega began his career in 1941 and he enjoyed success in his native land as well as in the United States, to where he moved in 1945. He then worked in classic films with RKO and Paramount Studios. His credits include "High Risk," "The Beast of Hollow Mountain," John Wayne's "Tycoon," "Plunder of the Sun," "The Far Horizons," "El Día de la Boda," "El Monasterio de los Buitres," "The Sun Also Rises," "Zorro, the Gay Blade" and "The In-Laws." His last work was in his son's film "Lugares Secretos" (2007). Noriega also worked in several TV series such as "Abrázame muy Fuerte" and "La Esposa Virgen." He was cremated and in accordance with his wishes, was buried with his second wife.
