John Samuel "Tom" "Tooter" Rothrock, Jr., 73, of Millerstown, passed away on May 21, 2020, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was the husband of Lillian (Turpin) Rothrock, who survives. The couple was married 55 years at the time of his passing.

John was born on November 14, 1946, in Richfield. He was the son of the late John A. and Pearl (Willow) Rothrock.

He was self-employed. John was a member of the Antique Auto Club, Hershey. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his three sons: John A.(Patricia) Rothrock of Middleburg, Scott D. Rothrock of Hummelstown, and Michael W.(Francine) Rothrock of Hummelstown; four grandchildren: John S. Rothrock, Heather E. Rothrock, Scott D. Rothrock, and Sarah L. Rothrock; two great-grandchildren: Keegan and Uriah; three sisters and a brother: Judy Richmond, Roger Rothrock, Sharon(Dennis) Moran, and Brenda(Michael) Stickle, and many nieces and nephews.

Due to the social distance restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Millerstown. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Pusey Losch. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in loving memory of John to a local animal shelter of the donors choosing.
