A. Jean (Damewood) Casey June 10, 1938 - September 30, 2018
A. Jean Casey, 80, a resident of Russellville, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018, at her home.

She was born June 10, 1938, in Maryville, Missouri to the late John Harrison and Ruby (Ulmer) Damewood. Jean married the love of her life, Sidney Casey, on November 11, 1953, in Miami, Oklahoma. Together Jean and Sidney raised their family and built Casey’s Texaco Station in Russellville. After realizing the need for a wrecker they added Casey’s Wrecker Service. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, working in the yard, being outside, raising livestock, going to the beach and the casino and most importantly loving her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Sidney Casey; a daughter, Stacey Lynn Casey; and two brothers.

Survivors include four sons, Robert Casey, Randy Casey of Russellville, Richard Casey and wife, Misty of Eureka Springs and Jerry Casey and wife, Dawn of Heber Springs; a daughter, Lawania Ford and husband, Doug of London; eleven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the Shinn Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Shinn Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in McFadden Cemetery in Dover under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Pallbearers will be Jason Casey, Nathan Casey, Colby Hamilton, Colby Hankins, Dr. Joe Cloud and Jerry Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Casey, Johnny Boze, Larry and Donna Eubanks and Shirley Sumners.
