Donna was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to Eugene D. “Biddo” LaBrecque and Elizabeth Ann (Brown) LaBrecque on May 5th, 1943. She went to High School of Commerce in Springfield, Massachusetts and graduated in 1961. After high school she attended finishing school, The Frasier School in Springfield, Massachusetts and graduated in June of 1963. She went on to earn an Associates of Science Degree in Computer Science from Butler County Community College in Kansas. She worked as a Computer Specialist at the VA Hospital in Denver for over 20 years. She enjoyed drinking coffee, going for walks, reading magazines, cutting coupons and spending time with her family and her dogs Peanut and Coco.
Donna is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry E. Lancaster of Aurora, Colorado, her daughter Lori-Ann Marie Lancaster and her partner Frank Billingsley of Erie, Colorado, her brother E. Browning Labrecque and his wife Fay LaBrecque of Ludlow, Massachusetts, her brother Douglas B. LaBrecque and his wife Lisa LaBrecque of West Springfield, Massachusetts, her cousin Jo-Ann Slate and her husband Robert Slate of West Brookfield, Massachusetts, her brother-in-law Leland M. Prier of Wichita, Kansas, her sister-in-law Janice L. Bartlett and her husband Bill Bartlett of Kansas City, Missouri, her sister-in-law Janet Crowell of Sardis, Mississippi and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Eugene D. “Biddo” LaBrecque, her mother Elizabeth Ann (Brown) LaBrecque and her brother Dennis R. LaBrecque.
Private family services will be held at St. Simeon Chapel, 22001 East State Highway 30, Aurora, Colorado 80018 on June 10th, 2020. Burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80236. Please refer to the family for details and restrictions.
