Floyd Clem Brewer, age 81, of Huntland, TN, passed away on June 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born on April 21, 1936 in Jackson County, AL, son of the late John S. & Maude Gifford Brewer. He was a former employee of Elk Cotton Mill.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Carlton and Wilma Jones and brothers, Stanford Brewer, Joe Richard Brewer, Henry Brewer and James Brewer.
Mr. Brewer is survived by his wife: Susie Faye Hirlston Brewer of Huntland, TN; daughter: Bonnie Sue (Randy) Gipson of Cowan, TN; son: Verlin ‘Peanut’ (Melissa) Short of Petersburg, TN; sister: Sarah Goble of Blountsville, AL; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Visitation is Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
