James Elbert Wildes, age 82, passed Monday, June 1, 2020, at his residence. James was born on December 27, 1937 in Norman Park, Ga to his late parents James Raymond Wildes and Alma Ellen Garran Wildes. He was preceded in death by his sister, Faye Wildes Gardner and his brother Searcy Wildes. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Mountaintown Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. George Barnett officiating. Music by Melanie Beasley and Jan Hall. James was a faithful member of Mountaintown Baptist Church, served his country honorably in the United States Marines and was a commercial printer/publicist as owner of Bear Printing and Baby Bear Advertising in Ellijay and of South Print in Marietta, Ga. James is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Linda Gail Ellis Wildes, of the home in Ellijay; daughters and son-in-law, Ann Wildes and Scott Adamavage, Ellijay, Ga, Robin Wildes Sarkesian, Decatur, Ga; grandchildren, Lindy (John) Trimble, Elijah Sarkesian, Tori Sarkesian, Lori (Luke) Thomas; great-grandchildren, Ivy Trimble, Ella Trimble, Brently Waldon, Cason Thomas; sister Sue Wildes Chancey of Moultrie, Ga.
