George Alvin Ferguson, age 85, of South Bend, Indiana left his earthly life for eternal rest on Monday June 1, 2020 at his home surrounded by family members. George was born on May 17, 1935 in McCracken, Kentucky to George W. Ferguson and Geneva Blanks Ferguson, who both preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Lawrence A. Ferguson, Curtis E. Ferguson, Wallace L. Ferguson; and two sisters: Mary L. Bias, and Gladys Ferguson (Wallace). George also had three children who preceded him in death: Tiny Turner, Leonard Ferguson, and Jamar Ferguson.

George worked for several construction companies. He worked for Bechtel construction company and Robert Henry. He received several certificates in excellent job performance. He retired from Robert Henry Construction Corporation.

George accepted Christ as his savior. He leaves to cherish find memories his wife of almost 25 years, Anita Ferguson, May-Lee Hill, Roy-Lee Campbell, Wanda Spencer (Terrence), Kim Ferguson, George Doss (Shella), Alvin Campbell (Priscilla), Odessa Ferguson, Andrea Darden, Doris Sanders (Proc), Curtis Ferguson (Kathy), Anthony Darden (Angela), Tracey Jett (George), Gregory Graham. George has to his wisdom a quiver of 45 grandchildren and more than 50 great-grandchildren.
