Robert E. Puryear, 60, of Glen Allen, passed away April 19, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Brenda B. Puryear; his daughter, Amy R. Puryear of Glen Allen; his mother, Louise T. Puryear of Richmond; his grandson, Brendan R. Puryear of Glen Allen; his brother, Jerry Puryear and his wife, Sylvia, of Glen Allen; and a host of extended family and friends. Mr. Puryear was preceded in death by his father, Clarence "Linnie" Puryear Jr. Mr. Puryear was a 1968 graduate of Virginia Tech and worked with the Virginia Department of Agriculture for 36 years.
