Waltham- Mrs. Phyllis B. (Baxter) Lexander of Waltham died Tuesday December 9, 2003 at the Lasell House in Newton. She was 79. Born in Belmont, a daughter of the late Franklin C. and Catherine (Madigan) Baxter, Mrs. Lexander lived in Belmont for many years before moving to Waltham in 1957. Mrs. Lexander was a 1942 graduate of Belmont High School and she attended Wyndham Medical Secretarial College in Boston. Mrs. Lexander was the wife of the late Frank Robert Lexander and sister of the late Franklin J. Baxter. She is survived by one son, James R. Lexander and his wife Donna of Waltham, two daughters Lois A. Burke and her husband John of Billerica, Nancy L. Anderson and her husband David of Wayland, and four grandchildren Ryan, Jocelyn, Errol and Kurt. The Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte 20), Waltham. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Memorial Donation's may be made to the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans, 7 Mill Brook Road, Wilton, NH 03086
