Big Man" Scott Douglas Harding, 38, of Sissonville passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007, at CAMC Women and Children's Hospital.

He was a Christian and was baptized at the Indian Creek Church of God in June of 1991. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and WVU fan and was a friend to everyone.

He was preceded in death by his father, Warren G. Harding in 1977, and his brother, Mark Harding in 1989.

He is survived by his mother, Faye Walker Harding of Sissonville; brothers, Eugene Shivley of Charleston, Rodney Shivley of Sissonville, Dubby Walker and Delmer "Monk" Harding, both of Charleston, Frank Harding of Sissonville, and Christopher and Garrett Harding, both of Charleston; sisters, Tonya Harding and Kelly Tippie, both of Sissonville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 23, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville.

Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
