MERRILL – Mrs. Frances Blanchfield, 69, Merrill, the mother of Joseph Blanchfield, Rothschild, died Tuesday (November 7, 1961) in her home.
Funeral services will be held there tomorrow morning at 8:30 o'clock in the Taylor Funeral home and at 9 in St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. A Parish Rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight in the funeral home.
Mrs. Blanchfield was born in Necedah June 22, 1892, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cunningham. She married Edward Blanchfield June 14, 1911. She was a member of the Catholic Woman's Club and the Altar society and the Railroad Women's Club.
Survivors include the widower and her son in Rothschild are two other sons, Robert, at home, and Edward Blanchfield, Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. Max Whittaker, San Francisco, California; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Mooney, Superior, and Mrs. Peter Larsen, Kenosha; and four grandchildren.
