Jeanette Marie Nelson, 68, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at The Willows.
Jeanette was born January 1, 1952 in Walnut Grove, California to Frederick Golinveaux and Helen Jordan Golinveaux.
Jeanette has lived in California and Idaho. She graduated from College Park High School in Pleasant Hill, California.
On July 3, 1970 she married Steven C. Nelson in Walnut Creek, California. Steven preceded her in death on April 14, 2003.
Jeanette worked as a dietary technician at State Hospital South in Blackfoot for many years.
Jeanette was a collector of antiques and gems. She was a wonderful cook and loved to cook for her family and friends. She also enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband and three boys.
Jeanette is survived by her sons, Craig Nelson of Boise, Matthew (Misti) Nelson of Blackfoot, and Adam Nelson of Idaho Falls; brothers, Robert, Mike, Steven, David, Peter, Donald, and James Golinveaux; sisters, Louisa Gardner, Margery Sitzmann, Ramona Golinveaux, and Elizabeth Eudaly; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Nelson and her parents, Fred and Helen Golinveaux.
No services will be held at this time. Family is under the care of Hawker Funeral Home.
