At an early age, Kenya accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She attended the Fort Smith Public schools. She started high school at Northside and later moved to Fort Gibson where she finished her education.
Kenya worked in the restaurant industry and later became a really great Nursing Assistant. Her patients loved her dearly. She was really good and very compassionate towards them.
Kenya was a "Girly Girl," for she loved her jewelry, clothes and hair. She was truly like her mother, for she loved to do her nails. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She always loved babies, particularly, as a little girl, her baby dolls. She was also crazy about her nephews and nieces. She had so many friends. She was a loving and kind person who never met a stranger.
Survivors: son, Prince Phillips Thompson; daughters, KeN'ya Mosley, Lenora Williams, Tiffany Williams and Hannah Williams; six grandchildren; father, Willie Phillips (Anjanette); brothers, Willie Phillips, Kaleb Phillips (Ashley), Jason Craft (Tosha), Dennis Holmes and Richard Tackett; sisters, Catina Moore (Tony), Whitlee Phillips, Katlin Phillips, Suzanna Frizzell (Limuel) and Miranda Tackett (Jaysen Bruney); other relatives and friends.
