Irwin Keith "Big Boy" Brown, 78, of Marvell passed away Monday, March 26, 2007 in Little Rock. Mr. Brown was born on August 27, 1928 in Marvell to the late Victor Hugo Brown and Mamie Tyner Brown. He was a Master Mason, a certified Lecturer for the Masonic Lodge, a veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Marvell.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 53 years, Amelia Miller Brown of Marvell; 4 sisters, Peggy Catlett of Marvell, Joyce Hall of Russellville, Patsy Stingley of Lampe, MO, and Molly Wooten of Bismarck; 4 children, Bill Brown and wife, Deena, of Prairie Grove, Kenny Brown and wife, Pat, of Clarendon, Kathy Johnson and husband, Ron, of Russellville, and Janelle McCandless and husband, Brian, of Port St. Lucie, FL; 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Victor Brown.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the First Baptist Church of Marvell, PO Box 838, Marvell, AR 72366. and the Lafayette Masonic Lodge of Helena, PO Box 2636, West Helena, AR 72390.

Graveside services for Irwin Brown will be held Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Marvell Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday at Bob Neal & Sons Brickell Funeral Home in Marvell from 5-7 p.m.
