Richard H. Chambers, 72, of Atlanta, GA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 29, 2020. He attended West Virginia Institute of Technology and earned degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology. He worked in a family-owned mining construction company for many years. In 1987, he moved his family to Atlanta where he worked for 30 years as a general contractor until retirement. Those who knew him knew he could fix anything. He used those skills to serve everyone including the homeless.

Born May 15, 1947, in Princeton, WV, he was the son of the late Adam Herbert Chambers (1922-1994) and Jeanette Vernice Shuck-Chambers (1923-1975). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry L. Chambers (Deceased).

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Nancy Belcher-Chambers; his daughters, Tobi Lynn Chambers and Lori Chambers-Parkman & husband Brian K. Parkman, all of Atlanta; a brother, Malcolm "Mickey" B. Chambers & wife Sandra S. Chambers; stepmother, Evayne Chambers; mother-in-law, Violet T. Belcher; brother-in-law, Donald C. Belcher all of Princeton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Private graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park.
